My name is Brittany Porter, and I am greatly looking forward to being your child’s classroom teacher. I have had the pleasure of being a teacher for five years; I have worked as a first grade, third grade, and reading intervention teacher at Paul Road School for two years. Prior to coming to Gates-Chili, I had the wonderful opportunity to teach first grade at an international school in Taiwan for three years.
I grew up in Rochester, NY and graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science in Childhood and Special Education and from Canisius College with a Master’s in Literacy. My interests include traveling, camping, hiking, playing tennis, and reading. I look forward to learning about you and your child throughout this year.
